Basic Principles of Digital Media
Balance:
Balance refers to a relationship between two or more components on a vertical or horizontal axis.An axis can be creating an ordered add stable composition or asymmetrical balance;creating a vibrant, dynamic compositions.Consider the purpose of VC in Evaluating Balance.
Emphasis:
A part of visual communication that has been made more visible and consequently more important. Identify the element, principle or strategy that has created the emphasis. For example; color scale, tone , size, contrast, proportion, position can all create emphasis.
Focal Point:
Related to emphasis, a focal points is a point in a composition that has been emphasis ed.It can be an actual point made prominent by the use of color, shape or contraction an implied point in a composition emphasis ed by shape , or lines of axis.
Movement:
Movement in a visual communication can be actual or implied. Actual movement is created by sequence of frames in a movie or animation. Implied movement is created by blur in a photo or horizontal "speed" lines in a illustration. Movement is expressive.
Scale:
Scale refers to the relative sizes of similar on same object in visual communications. Using differently sized objects together help created of depth in a composition.Describe the size of relative components.
Proportion:
proportion mean the radio of relative dimensions of an image, shape or type. Compare the proportion of height, depth, width and /or length of components. Designers also change the proportioned ' formats'.
Definition of 'Interactive Multimedia Design"
A method of communication in which the program's outputs depend on the user's inputs , and the user's inputs in turn affect the program's outputs. Interactive media engage the user and interact with him or her in a way that non-interactive media. Movie and most TV shows are generally not considered interactive media, however shows that require audience participation could be considered interactive media.
Concept of My Apps
My concept for my application is a kerawang design because the Malays take much pride in their traditional handicrafts, an art that is passed down from generation to generation since hundreds of years ago.
What is unique about the handicraft is the design, which seems to stand the test of the time. If has only undergone minimal modifications throughout the years.
TASK 1:Introduction and Anatomy of Interaction Design
Students will be exposed to the introduction and basic principles of Digital Media and Multimedia Production; (functions of Multimedia, Interface Design Elements(GUI and UX, and production process)
Students are required to brainstorm an interactive application story line and timeline. Then create a storyboard for the planning phase. The layout design must be supported by the UX and UI. Students will understand the design interface for an interactive media product and to produce a prototype, this stage will achieve learning outcome 1 and 2.
1. Theme
2. Interactive elements
3. Layout Scene(4-5 development scenes)

Task 2: Authoring Flow Chart & Visual Production
According to the storyboard, students are required to produce motion graphic/ animation/video.I required to show a weekly progress presentation and the work need to focus on the visual element Only

Task 3:The Audio Production
Student are required to do the recording and editing for their production.
Mobile Wire frame Storyboard
